This video was an incredibly fun shoot that took place in record time up in Buffalo, NY: hometown of the band.  With the original concept proposed by the leader of the band, Josh Klein, we were able to get to work quite comfortably with the set up the band gave us.  Shot in Broadway Joe’s, a frequent venue for the band, we were able to bring to life a colorful cast of sad and desperate souls trapped in the clutches of the Devil himself in his very own establishment.

We are pleased to officially announce our next big project: Gun of the Outlaw!

This project is an original webseries; an action-packed, episodic adventure about a pair of modern-day outlaws trying to make it big.  We are currently developing a 10-episode season and hope to produce a pilot episode to pitch to larger distributors such as Hulu, Netflix, and the like.

So what’s it all about?

Our hero, Jet, is a natural gunslinger and he knows it.  In fact, he knows it so well that he was born in the wrong century.  Clinging to an old-west mentality, he has chosen the same path as his great-great-great grandfather: to become an outlaw.  And after a wicked turn of events with his own gang, the Dead Eyes, he has no choice but to hit the road with his old accomplice and friend: a big business-minded con man named Niko.  Together the pair set out to start a new gang and live the outlaw dream, meeting a colorful cast of fellow outlaws, crooked cops, and deadly bounty hunters along the way.

So when can we expect it?

Right now we are in the very earliest part of pre-production.  We are starting our campaign to get funding for the pilot episode.  It may take some time; we really want to do this one right, and to do our best requires a fair chunk of change!  So we will be meeting with investors and seeking out support and contributions from wherever we can find them.  If you or anyone you know are interested in funding a project like this, please get in touch!  We will be offering financial incentives and potential returns in exchange for significant investments.

So what can we do?

Just keep your eyes open for updates on our progress, and get in the mood for a fun gun-slinging adventure!  Watch some classics.  And of course if you or anyone you know is interested in investing or donating to our cause, watch out for upcoming kickstarters, promotions, etc!

This is going to be big for us, folks.  A story on a much larger scale than anything we’ve done before!  So please stay tuned and stay classy!

Writing you from our studios in not-so-sunny Philadelphia, it’s time for an update on what we are doing right now and what will be coming your way pretty soon!  It’s about to get interesting, so hold on to your butts.

Currently we are working hand in hand with Traverse Pictures and Anonamerican Films to release a teaser trailer for their film Mass Effect: Serenity.  It’s a really cool Mass Effect fan film that should display a lot of excellent effects and make ME fans very happy!  I can’t really divulge much about the plot at this point, but you should definitely take a look at their page and watch out for our trailer very soon!

Additionally, we have just cut together a quick album release promo for our good friends Pollock of Western New York.  They’ve put a lot of work into their first full-length album, and the work has shown!  If you’re into mysticism, rocking out hard, and a little bit of magic, you will definitely want to check these guys out.  At any rate, watch the trailer for their album and see if you like what you hear!

On top of that, we are currently talking with the band about doing another music video for them.  You may recall the video we made for their song, Mr. Phoenix.  Lots of fun, and the most creativity we’ve been able to inject into a music video so far!  Well it looks like we’re going to have another go at it with their new song, Devil.  Hopefully we’ll be entering production by the spring and will have something cool for you soon!

Beyond that, we are also about to enter editing for the short film Altered.  If you didn’t catch our updates previously, Altered is a short about a scientist who is part of the first team to develop a zombie virus, and the toll it takes on both her psyche and her body.  I had the pleasure of directing this film produced by Teaspoon and Pound Media, and the production went super well.  Now with the editing ready to go you should be able to see this film pretty soon, and we will be sure to let you know when and where it’s coming out.

Lastly, we’ve been developing plans for our next big project: the modern western webseries.  If you haven’t been to our facebook page to check out some of the early concept art we posted for it, you should definitely take a look.  We will be making a more complete announcement with some details about the project in a few days, so stick around to learn more about the next big thing in Quigley Films history!

This quick-and-dirty film is a love letter to the film noir style. This moment in time encapsulates a meeting between two ill-fated souls and the hard decisions they face. Starring Frank Brückner and Nick Groch (both featured in Assassin’s Creed: Generations), this one is sure to tickle your taste buds for more.  Though the film is cryptic, both actors knew the backstory of their characters and precisely what they were talking about.  But that’s a mystery you may never get the answers to…

A prequel to the previously successful “16mm Blood Opera”, this piece also filmed on 16mm tells the tragic tale of Leon, a hitman trying to keep an eye on the business of killing and ensure that those who die are truly deserving of it. But when he takes a last-minute job and things take a turn for the worse, his partner Ben is left with a taste for vengeance.
